The origins of Connective Wealth™, a division of the Wealth Maintenance Organization LLC, date back to June, 2007 when founders George and Kevin Brown realized that there was no existing structure that provided business owners and their advisers with an effective way to identify solutions for the complex issues facing business owners. Connective Wealth was formed for the purpose of filling this void in the market place.
Traditionally business owners established relationships with advisers on an "as needed” basis. These relationships were often established without any consideration as to how they would function as part of a team. The advisers included financial advisers, business coaches, attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, marketing consultants, benefits consultants and others. Each one had his or her "silo of expertise”. They rarely spoke to one another, and even more rarely would they bring in outside expertise, for fear of disrupting the existing business relationship. Some advisers would prefer not to raise an issue that should have been addressed, because they did not have a solution to the problem, or they didn’t want to spend the time searching for a solution.
The founders knew that there are some advisers who are committed to operating by a set of values which includes bringing the "best of class” solutions to their clients. The founders were determined to establish a system that would facilitate the search for the best solutions, and at the same time provide a platform for collaboration among the business owners, advisers and their key employees. An executive team was formed to bring the Connective Wealth concept to market. One of the first steps was to create the brand: "Connective Wealth” and the slogan "The Stewardship of Success”.
In October 2009, the Connective Wealth functional system was ready for launch and we are now prepared to invite people to apply for membership in Connective Wealth.
